Bangalore Transport

Does this thought or question ever came to you that, were Transport services like Blueline in New Delhi and BMTC in Bangalore are ever penalised for overloading? Theyhave to be but they are never penalised. It is understood and also an ideal move for departments that are running in losses but departments like BMTC in Bangalore are earning crores while most of their buses run overloaded. Bangaloreans have developed the art of tolerence which is really bad. It is high time that we need to act swiftly and create an awareness that we need to follow mass transportation. It has huge number of advantages. The effects are also cascading! One good thing will lead to the other good thing and so on! Pollution control, fuel savings, ease of traffic and many others. Again these are catalytic! In cities like Bangalore, mass transporation must be encouraged by speedy work on the 'namma metro' and better facilities by the BMTC. But there are so many factors which discourage the huge population of Bangalore to follow the mass transporation.

Does it make sense?

We often comment that terrorism is one of the worst problems that our country is facing. Terrorism is a 'media-darling' disease because it arouses the extreme emotions in human beings and makes people blindly support any fascist leader who promises Heavens. While we are fooled by our politicians, terrorists are helping them in creating vote banks. We are in fear - exactly what the terrorists want. I would like to comment that Terrorism is a very small disease plagued down when compared to many other our own fatal errs.
Is negligence in a hospital not criminal? Is corruption in food distribution to flooded areas not criminal? Is not daily insider manipulation of stock markets criminal? Is not any finanical scam worth more than 1 crore not criminal? Is not politican-criminal nexus not criminal? Is not police injustice criminal? Is not ignoring the trend of traffic accidents criminal? At the end of the day, we have only ourselves to blame because there are over 200 political parties that are active in India and we vote them to screw our own Economy, Stability and Development. These huge number of parties create instability which leads to worsening of the economy and it leads to something else and all these are catalytic. One bad thing will lead to the other. The most ideal system in democracy is the bi-party system(all of the developed nations follow this!). We should have followed it right from the begining but we did not and now it is an impossible act to have it. Shokilal Nehru and Congress(I) have been the worst things that have happened to India in its very long standing history. Japan, Italy and Germany were destroyed during the second world war and now these three are super powers after USofA and UK. Israel was not even born when we got the independence. Sometimes I strongly feel that we would have prospered more, had we ruled by the English for another four decades.
